2 weeks 4 days to go

The baby has dropped and oh what a feeling. While I will say it is easier to breathe, the shift in weight is causing my hips and inner thighs to be a little sore. It feels like I have done a mega leg workout at the gym. I am also experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions. I am enjoying this as it is giving me the chance to practice breathing through those tightenend muscles and relax other body parts surrounding them.

The nesting instinct comes in waves and I was happy to act on it while Joe was away on a trip. It is a fine balance however between using that time to clean and using it to put my feet up and relax. I have a little hand swelling and retention of fluids in my ankles. Luckily it is not a 24-7 thing and I continue to drink water to keep everything equaled out.

We are sooo excited!!!!

    Crazy! I can't believe it is so close! You're right it is a fine line between getting things done and relaxing. It's hard to let ourselves just simply relax guilt free.

    What music did you put on your ipod for labor and such? I'm working on mine and can't figure out what music I need to put me in a zen like state… Any recommendations are welcomed!
