2 weeks 4 days to go

The baby has dropped and oh what a feeling. While I will say it is easier to breathe, the shift in weight is causing my hips and inner thighs to be a little sore. It feels like I have done a mega leg workout at the gym. I am also experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions. I am enjoying this as it is giving me the chance to practice breathing through those tightenend muscles and relax other body parts surrounding them.

The nesting instinct comes in waves and I was happy to act on it while Joe was away on a trip. It is a fine balance however between using that time to clean and using it to put my feet up and relax. I have a little hand swelling and retention of fluids in my ankles. Luckily it is not a 24-7 thing and I continue to drink water to keep everything equaled out.

We are sooo excited!!!!

4 weeks 1 day

This week I:
– prepared our first frozen post baby express meal
– put all of the Hypnobabies sessions and Yacht Rock favorites on my Iphone
– fell in love with Organic Valley Vanilla lowfat milk
– ordered our Seventh Genereation tiny diapers for when is baby is too small for gdiapers
– have felt many “It’s too tight in here” movements from Hambone
– realized, along with Joe, that our playyard/crib, dosent fit between our bed and armoire. D’Oh!
Off to Target to buy a smaller bed for the tot.

Little Things

Yesterday I put most of the baby’s things away in the dresser we got at Ikea. How can such little things take up so much space? I am very excited
for Joe to hang up the Noah’s Ark print over the area where they will sleep and put together the pack and play. It is coming together with 7 weeks 3 days to go…
