Fabulous Design Where Art Thou??

Since the demise of Domino Magazine your girl has been hunting the world wide interwebs trying to find that same type of motivation and inspiration.

I just like to look at cute things that are near to my style or something maybe not my style by will trigger my creativity. The image to the left is from small space style, a great blog that does what Domino used to do for me. That kitchen table is amazing and the chairs are just like the ones I had in my old aparment when I was feeling that Will and Grace white covered chair kitchen look. If there are anysites for interior style that you can reccomend please do!

60 days to go….M________________

We have officially hit the two month mark till the wedding and couldn’t be more excited. The reply cards from guests are so funny. Many have notes of love, excitement, and support written in the side margins or on the back of the cards.

When designing them I simply placed the letter M and then a line following for guests to write in Mr. or Mrs. or Miss, and then check boxes if they accepted or declined the invitation. But one of my bridesmaids chose to do something different. Upon opening the small orange envelope I read:

Me and My hot man!

Accept with pleasure
Thanks to all of our friends and family who think outside of the box!

I’m So Excited…Let the Music Play

Last night I had the pleasure of meeting our wedding DJ(Cozy) and one of my bridesmaids(Karin) at Einstein’s for drink and chat. The energy that comes from these two is amazing, especially on a rainy crappy day. It is the job of Joe and myself to bring to Cozy all of our must-play tunes. He is a phenominal music man and we look forward to him setting the mood for the cocktail/party time wedding we are dreaming of. I have recieved a few requests that have included:
Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam
Duran Duran
Prince
Stevie Wonder
Mighty Mighty Bosstone
Rappers Delight
Lovely Day
Electric Light Orchestra
Etta James
Frank Sinatra….
Needless to say we have a mega-mix of guests and we think they will all hear something they like.

Joe and I have also been getting the invitations ready for mailing. Sadly enough do to the wack postal service decision to change the price of stamps right in the middle of our reply window. we will be using the forever stamps instead of the traditional “love” ones. My thought is that the invites are so darned cute no one will be looking at the dang stamps anyway.

Yay Love!!!!
